Update: March 10, 2026 - Our stay at the Hotel Nazionale was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The location is simply perfect for those who want to explore Rome on foot. The hotel is very close to Via del Corso, and in just a few minutes' walk we could easily reach several of the city's main tourist attractions, such as the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and also the Campo de' Fiori area. Walking around Rome is very pleasant, and the hotel is located in an area that makes this type of experience very easy. In addition, there is relatively close access to the metro, which is also very helpful for getting around the city when necessary. The breakfast is very good, with several options such as eggs, bread, and vegetables. There is also fruit, although this is a point that could have a little more variety. The service from the entire team was excellent — everyone was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The rooms are very comfortable. We stayed in a room with flooring (no carpet), which we thought was great. The bathroom is very good, with an excellent shower and great water pressure, plus a hairdryer available. The area around the hotel is also full of great places. It's close to the famous All’Antico Vinaio, which is very popular right now. Very close by is also the traditional Sant’Eustachio Il Caffè, with excellent coffee. On the side street is the famous Giolitti ice cream shop, and nearby we also find Venchi, another great option for those who like gelato and chocolate. An important detail: we arrived in the early morning and there was an attendant at reception to greet us and organize our check-in, which was very reassuring after the trip. Our Uber dropped us off two streets away from the hotel, which initially worried us, but we later understood that this happens because the hotel is located in the area of the Palazzo Montecitorio, the seat of the Italian Chamber of Deputies. Therefore, the area has security barriers that prevent cars from entering the hotel. Security is permanent, 24 hours a day, which provides even more peace of mind. Overall, it was a fantastic experience: a comfortable hotel, very well located, and with excellent service. Without a doubt, we would stay here again on a future trip to Rome.
