New Eagles Aqua Park Resort

At first, we thought it wasn't very good, but the service and the beach saved our holiday. I really appreciated that horseback and camel riding were available on site. It's a small but lovely hotel, and for the price, it was okay. The staff were so friendly; we felt very comfortable, and we loved that there was no alcohol.

Not a resort worthy of the name. We went to this resort and paid €800 for 8 nights. 2 adults and a child. The brunette receptionist is extremely rude and surly, looking at you with a condescending air. People would come up to you every day to sell you their excursions, even while you were relaxing on the beach. The entertainment staff are pushy. The two girls don't speak English and keep repeating "yeeees yesss" over and over without understanding what you're saying. The cuisine is typical Arabic, with all the same flavors, and honestly, it makes you sick to your stomach when you see how they store the food (behind the restaurant, you can clearly see the inside of the kitchen with bags of food left on the floor). The desserts and pastries are awful; the ones from the supermarket are more edible. The only good part is the fruit (melon and oranges every day, and once we found strawberries). As for cleaning, the staff are very smart. If you tip them, they clean (even if only superficially). If you don't, they "forget" the towels and you have to ask them a thousand times, or toilet paper (very often). If you tip them, they smile at you; otherwise, they turn away and don't even say hello. The pools aren't heated. Snacks, if we can call them that, are almost nonexistent (supermarket ice cream in 1kg tubs, and they gave you a spoonful of ice cream in a coffee cup). On the beach, you'll find people who want to sell you fruit juices (they're good), but they cost €6 each (absurd). Why not include them in the all-inclusive package? On the day of check-out, we were called at 10:00 to remind us it was check-out day (we don't forget when we have to leave, there's no need to disturb anyone). My 3-year-old son was sleeping and they woke him up. When I said we'd be leaving the room at 12 noon (checkout is by 12 noon) because our flight was at 10 p.m. and we wanted to sleep in so we wouldn't arrive tired, they said OK. But no apologies for the inconvenience. Wi-Fi not working Battery charging sockets not working. What can I say? They still have a lot to learn, but above all, they need to renovate the facility if they want to continue operating. P.S. The slides in the pool are dangerous for children because they're all rusty. The holiday went very well. But if we want to talk about the quality of the resort, we are on the low end. PRICE quality is ok. The ROOMS are very old and poorly maintained. CLEANING only upon request and with the expectation of a tip (tip also for greeting in the morning otherwise no greeting). FOOD ok but always the same. POOL not heated for December/January, children's slides unsafe. SEA nice, even if the harbor with boats blocks the view. Evening activities not available and sad. Baby dance for children is fine. EXCURSIONS convenient to book directly from the reception with prices not excessively high. Excursion to Luxor went very well and was excellently organized. FINALLY: if you want resort life I strongly advise against it, BUT if you want a base with a few days of RELAXATION that is not a hotel it is fine for excursions like Luxor, Cairo etc.
