Having stayed at a few sites across Cornwall when visiting I would sadly say this would be the worst to have stayed at. POSITIVES: The disabled caravan is large, has a walk in shower and is a good size. Heating works well. Has a pool inside. Play area. Laundrette. Bar. Arcades. Location wise is brilliant 10 minutes from Perranporth and Newquay, nearest supermarket & fuel is 4 miles. You are provided with pots, pans, plates, cutlery, utensils etc. 1 tea towel is provided, 1 cloth, 1 sponge and a little dishwashing liquid. NEGATIVES: The caravan is very worn out, beds uncomfortable where springs have gone in the mattresses, holes & stains in/on the bedding, and we were bitten in the beds, dirty curtains, carpet looks filthy sadly cleanliness isn't very high. Pans, cutlery, cups, glasses etc had to be washed before using first time. The main bedroom draw front fell off. It was advertised as a double bed and its 2 rooms with single beds. The pool we had full view of and we never saw it cleaned, but also if you have children (I have 1 but he was not with us on this holiday break) be very careful as the windows in the pool are completely see through, would recommend changing little one before going to the pool and then wrapping them up wet and changing them back at your caravan as our caravan didn't even have a blind or curtain we could shut whilst washing the dishes facing the pool. As a parent that for me is a huge concern. Knifes do not cut anything, tried to cut up a chicken breast and had to use a pair of scissors I had brought with us as even the caravans scissors are blunt. For a week we were given a sweeping brush, swept the carpet to find nuts, pretzels, stickers left from the previous stay (thankfully we have no allergies to these). No WiFi in the caravans, a first we have come across. No onsite shop so be prepared when arriving. You receive a little pack which tells you times of things being open, the times are incorrect. We saw the pool shut early, the bar being shut for 2 days of the week also. Lots of noise on a morning when cleaners are cleaning, our first morning we were awoken at 6am by loud music and lots of banging whilst the cleaning staff took 20 minutes to clean a 2 bedroom caravan next to us (certainly not enough time to change beds, clean and hoover). Personally wish we had paid to stay on a site I had before as I have paid less and had better, the caravan is basic. Lots of shelves but nothing on them. It wouldn't be a site I would return to and I would actually feel for anyone who has booked this place for summer, personally I would be cancelling biting the bullet on any losses and booking elsewhere. Needs a lot of work doing to bring it up to scratch, simple things such as bedding having large holes, cobwebs and uncleanliness is a big thing for people's holidays and should be a basic let alone anything else, I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. Just an all round disappointment really especially when you work hard for your money to go away for a break, we travelled from Yorkshire and we're aware its out of season but that shouldn't matter to the condition or way the caravans are kept. If you are looking for a better site you have Monkey tree down the road and also a short drive away you have Piran Meadows both sites I have stayed on and would highly recommend.
