I had a very good stay at Next Hotel Melbourne. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the amenities provided were top notch. What really stood out, however, was the service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, polite, and professional. A huge kudos to the housekeeping team as well, they fulfilled all of my requests incredibly fast, which made the stay very smooth. The only downside was the breakfast. While the quality was fine, the selection felt quite limited. It was mostly the same cold items every day alongside cooked-to-order eggs. I would have loved to see a bit more variety in the hot options or a rotation in the menu. Despite the breakfast, I’m still giving this hotel 5 stars. The level of service and the helpfulness of the team more than made up for it. I would definitely stay here again!

I usually like Hilton properties and the Next Hotel brand, and the location and hardware of Next Hotel Melbourne are genuinely good. This is why I feel disappointed by this particular stay. Unfortunately, there were multiple service and system issues throughout the stay and after checkout. These included problems with deposit handling, incorrect or incomplete billing records, and delayed or inconsistent follow-up communication. As a Hilton Honors member, the billing issue also meant my stay was not properly recorded and had to be manually corrected. One important note for future guests: the tea tins placed in the room are not complimentary. There was no clear signage or pricing information during my stay, and I later learned that the three tins are charged at AUD 60 in total if taken. Guests may wish to confirm this with staff to avoid misunderstandings. While the staff I interacted with were polite, the overall experience felt poorly coordinated and did not meet the standard I would normally expect from a Hilton-affiliated property. I hope the hotel reviews its internal systems and communication processes before my next visit.

This is a great hotel in a perfect location and the staff are friendly and helpful. Decorated beautifully and close to anything you need. Breakfast and amenities were great too. Highly recommended!!!
