We highly recommend this hotel! The location is great, about a 15-minute walk to the historic center and about 20 minutes by taxi to the airport, currently costing around €25. The rooms, in our case the superior rooms, are spacious and modern. We had a room facing the back, which was pleasantly quiet. Everything you could need is provided. Check-in was very friendly, and the staff were courteous and service-oriented. The breakfast offered a wide selection and high-quality products. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

The NH Bologna hotel itself is perfectly nice, and I have no complaints about the property, the rooms, or the staff during the stay. However, I would strongly advise not trying to affiliate the stay with a GHA Discovery account. I attempted to have the points from my stay credited to my account and to resolve a simple account issue, but after exchanging close to a dozen emails with customer service over the course of more than a month, I was still not able to get it resolved. What should have been a very straightforward request turned into a long and frustrating process. Because of this experience, I ultimately decided to terminate my affiliation with this hotel chain. Again, the hotel itself is fine—but the loyalty program and customer service experience were extremely disappointing.
