We stayed there over New Year's Eve. The hotel is lovely and the staff are incredibly friendly. The team in the breakfast room and bar, in particular, were very attentive. Our room with a view of the beach was simply fantastic. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Rooms: Partially beautifully and up-to-dately renovated. The bathroom is dated, especially the bathtub and shower, which are definitely from 30 years ago. Guests with limited mobility may find it very difficult to use the shower. I would even consider it unsafe for this group. The TV is also in serious need of replacement. Several channels are unavailable, or the picture quality is poor. Tip: invest in modern TVs for all rooms. Small tip: please provide more hangers (Rooms 417 have 4 hangers). Service: We have been coming to NH Zandvoort several times a year for years, and the average service is a 4. However, we would rate the service of several staff members as 5: Ryan (reception), Eric (bar), Japke/Carla/Geraldine (breakfast team). We rate the small shop opposite reception and the coffee bar in the lounge a 4. We always enjoy the delicious and extensive breakfast buffet, which we rate a 5. Location: A 5 for accessibility, near the beach, and near the race track. Score 3 for distance to town center/shops/supermarket/most beach clubs and restaurants. Parking 4 (unfortunately not 5 because you have to pay for it). Overall: We think the preliminary upgrade/renovation is very good and well-done. However, we would like to add that in some places it has become less inviting, and a bit more clinical (sofa and chairs in the lounge and bar have been removed). Tip: adding some nice accessories could bring back a more inviting atmosphere in those areas.
