Nirvana Cosmopolitan

When evaluating a hotel, I try to base my assessment on the service it provides within its stated concept for the price paid. Positive points: + The hotel has strong food quality. + The pastry shop is open until 11 pm and has very nice desserts. + The quality of drinks is good value for money. + Cosmos Theatre (the Ege concert on February 14th was great) + Room cleaning was done regularly. + Birthday gestures. Now, let's talk about the negative experiences we had: - I said the food quality was strong, but for example, one day there was lamb chops at the evening buffet, and they ran out after an hour. There were people waiting in line or wanting to get some, but there weren't any. It was more than an hour before the restaurant closed, and there were no more. I think this is a situation that belittles the hotel; such petty calculations. It would have been better if you hadn't included them at all? - We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. 3 days were rainy, etc., the weather was bad. The 1st day was sunny and beautiful. The outdoor pool was dirty and uncleaned, and the heating wasn't working. Many guests, like us, turned back after seeing this situation. We reported this to the assistant, but the pool was already cleaned after 3-4 pm, and by then the day was over. - There's a vitamin bar in the indoor pool, but no one was guarding it; some guests got bored waiting and went inside to get their own drinks. - Service outside the main restaurant is really poor. In all four days I sat down, not once, just once, did a waiter even come to ask what we wanted to drink; I always got my own. Some of the staff were grumpy, some were friendly. Keep this in mind if you're looking for a service-oriented hotel. - The whole hotel was leaking due to the rain. - One day we had an à la carte dinner (Fellini), and they seated us near the door where people went out to smoke. Everyone who went out to smoke left the door open, and the children were freezing from the wind. I had to get up and close it twice, and we asked a waiter to close it twice. Putting a family with a one-year-old baby at a table where they're constantly exposed to the wind from people going out to smoke is incredibly thoughtless. Imagine you're eating, and every 5 minutes a group passes by your table. The door is right behind your table, and they leave it open, chilling you to the wind. You have to try to close the door in the middle of your meal, and so on. We ask the waiter, "Couldn't you have seated us at another table? Water is leaking from the roof onto the tables on the right; these are the only tables available." - Because it had been raining for 3 days, we wanted to experience the Miras snack à la carte on our remaining day when the weather was nice. Closing time is 4 PM, but we went at 3 PM. The welcome was like this: "Unfortunately, we are preparing decorations for Valentine's Day, we can't seat you." When we asked how they couldn't, a head waitress came and said, "No, that's not right, we can seat you at a table over there," and we sat down. The welcome was truly terrible from our perspective. - As a father of two, I can confidently say that this is not a child-friendly hotel; it's an animal-friendly one. The miniclub's hours and facilities are inadequate (although the staff are helpful). It might be better in the summer, but that doesn't change the fact that it's not child-friendly. Especially if you have children aged 4-7 and you're thinking, "I'll leave my child at the miniclub and relax while they have fun," then this hotel is definitely not for you, at least not in the winter. There are family-oriented hotels in a similar price range that have miniclubs open until 11-12 at night in the winter. Finally, a side note: the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the sea. All the negative experiences we had were due to the service. Despite all these negative experiences, the reason we gave 4 stars is because we managed to get it at a relatively affordable price. Looking at the prices during the summer season, it's definitely not a reason for us to choose it at that price. It's upsetting to pay that much money and experience these negative situations. I don't know if I would go again; if I find a better price and service without high expectations, I might consider it.

So, the Nirvana Cosmopolitan Hotel. I'd heard about it for a long time, how trendy and unique it is, and I saw it for myself, as they say. Meeting: We were met by a guest (a young man) who explained everything very clearly and quickly, as they say, briefly about the main thing, and that's definitely a plus. I worked in this position myself and appreciate good communication and clear explanations. Rooms: tastes differ. For example, I didn't like the minimalist style, with warm tones, but I felt it lacked warmth. The bed was large, clean, tidy, the shower was large, and all the amenities were there. I'd like to mention the soft slippers; your feet really rested. Main restaurant: I admit, I expected something more from a hotel of this standard. There's a wide selection to suit any gourmet, but I didn't find it tasty, the food was cold, and since I have other things to compare it to, it was average, nothing more to say. I think the service is the pride of this hotel. You won't be left unattended anywhere. The staff are all very polite and will fulfill your requests immediately. 1000/10. Patiserie: I haven't had a more delicious teramisa anywhere in Antalya. It was amazing. All the other sweets are top-notch. I especially recommend trying the chocolate; they make it themselves, so give it a try. 10/10 Lobby: I was truly impressed. It's beautiful, posh, and unique. Firstly, it's huge, with plenty of room for everyone. I play the piano and violin around dinnertime, which is really cool. Grounds: Large, with plenty of room to move around. 10/10 Pool: A typical pool, not too small, not too big, with a hot tub nearby. I liked that the most. 100/10 Did you like it? Yes, we liked it. We stayed in winter. The hotel concept was simple, and that's fine. I recommend it for those who are perhaps tired of Turkish five-star hotels and would like to try something more sophisticated. We went for the event. It was nice that they hosted such events. It had an appearance parallel to its star.
