Nkuhlu Tented Camp – 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nkuhlu Tented Camp is an absolute gem in the heart of Kruger National Park. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic bush experience with exceptional attention to detail, this is the place. Although the camp is self-catering, the staff go far above and beyond. Everyone working here is genuinely kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our tent was cleaned twice a day, which felt incredibly luxurious for a bush camp. Every evening, they thoughtfully set the table with plates for dinner, making the experience feel warm and personal rather than self-service. One of the most special touches was the bedtime ritual: each night we received a chocolate, a little Zulu bedtime story, and a small animal souvenir. It’s these thoughtful details that truly make Nkuhlu stand out and make you feel cared for. The location is perfect, ideally situated between Lower Sabie and Skukuza, with incredible game viewing in the surrounding area. We saw plenty of wildlife nearby, making every drive exciting. All tents have breathtaking views over the Sabie River, which adds an extra layer of magic, especially in the early mornings and at sunset. There’s also a well-stocked shop and a lovely picnic spot right next to the camp, which is very convenient. Nkuhlu Tented Camp perfectly balances comfort, nature, and heartfelt hospitality. It’s peaceful, beautifully located, and full of soul. I would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended

Very special to be in the middle of the bush and amenities were superb. If there is a storm just remember the tent windows need to be zipped closed from the outside which we were not aware of and ended up with the tent being flooded
