NOOSA KEYS RESORT

When I was looking to book a place to stay I was looking for cheap options and I found Noosa Keys. You get what you pay for. Ill start with the positives because it wasn't all bad. When we arrived the aircons had been turned on so it was nice and cool, there were products provided for the shower, dishwasher, and washing machine, its a great location, the pool was heated, and there was some equiptment provided for the tennis court. Unfortunatley, the apartment was not very clean. The oven and microwave had food marks in them, under the furniture was dusty, there were items in the drawers left by previous guests (my child found a vape), there was cocroach droppings in the kitchen and we saw a couple of cocroaches crawling around. On the last night of our stay I fell sick and was unsure why. The next morning I saw the inside of the aircon in my room was covered in black mould. It is an older place and bit and pieces were not working great, the locks on the sliding doors were hard to use, a towel rack fell off the wall when I hung a face washer, etc. I will say Christine offered to respond to the issues brought to her attention immediately. However, she also booked for the apartment to get an aircon quote at the same time as our stay and asked us if we were okay with them coming in. We said yes but did feel that she should have waited for a more appropriate time. So overall, not a terrible stay but we will not be returning.

This is a small managed resort where there's a mix of owners & tenants living on site, plus a small pool of apartments available as short term holiday lets. Like many Noosaville properties, this resort is old & out dated (and some owners need to be encouraged to pay attention to improving their furnishings, bed quality etc). For an older Kiwi couple, it offered us everything we needed to self-cater whilst providing an affordable holiday in the sun. The Gympie Tce location & access to the 50c bus (taking you to Hastings St, Noosa Junction & Sunshine Beach etc), is convenient. The new manager is to be congratulated for the improvements she has implemented; she is managing the place very professionally and the cleanliness has improved 150%. Well done Christine.

My family and I were very happy with our stay at Noosa Keys Resort. Our unit was very comfortable, and excellent for the price. The location was superb, a stone's throw from the river, and Christine was a very helpful and accommodating host. Highly recommend.
