We made a restaurant reservation for dinner with friends, without a separate hotel reservation. The service was good, the welcome warm, and the staff attentive. However, the food needs improvement. The focaccia appetizer was very dry. The Caesar salad was unfortunately not a Caesar salad at all. The dressing was tasteless and not a traditional Caesar dressing; there was no Parmesan cheese either. In addition, the chicken was quite dry. The brookie for dessert was good but very greasy (not in a good way). Overall, there were quite a few oversights in the kitchen, and we had to send back several dishes. It's a shame.

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did have dinner at the restaurant. Regarding the meal, I must unfortunately say that I wasn't convinced by the value for money. I ordered duck confit, which was the most expensive dish on the menu, but I found it rather poor quality. Honestly, the quality seemed comparable to that of canned duck confit you might find in a supermarket. On the other hand, I must emphasize that the service was excellent: the welcome was warm, the staff attentive, and the setting very pleasant. It's all the more disappointing that the quality of the food wasn't on the same level as the rest of the experience.

I only dined at the restaurant, having worked in the restaurant industry and in the kitchen. The roast pork on the daily special was truly dry, very dry. The French toast, while thin, was at least warm and also dry. The draft beer I ordered was ultimately unavailable. The only positive point was the service, which was understanding and responsive to requests, even if they seemed hesitant to resolve issues at our table.
