This review is based on my experience during our stay. The hotel itself is actually very good and in a good location. We spent one night there at the end of January to catch the early ferry back to Geelong the next morning. We booked the room in advance, including breakfast. At check-in, we were informed that breakfast wouldn't open until 7:30 on Sundays. However, we had to leave by 7:30 at the latest to catch the ferry. I immediately pointed out that it was unacceptable for a hotel, where practically all guests were staying overnight due to the ferry crossing, to start breakfast so late. We were then offered the option of grabbing something from breakfast shortly before it started. However, this wasn't possible the following morning, so we ended up paying for breakfast that wasn't available. When I contacted the hotel, they actively promised me a refund. After this message, however, despite several follow-up inquiries, I never heard from the hotel again, which is absolutely outrageous. Furthermore, the room rate was charged to me at the higher Euro exchange rate without my consent. Conclusion: Rooms were great, staff were a complete disaster. Pay attention to the breakfast times, otherwise you'll have the same problem we did. Or just don't book it at all.

Very smart accommodation in an excellent location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant is good, but busy, bookings for this are recommended. Parking is minimal but nearby council carpark fills the need. Excellent place to stay if catching the ferry

Good location, nice room, was surprised there was only a catchall for restaurant, cafe and bar, thought there would be more than one area. Not many tables either.
