Overall the experience was good. The hotel is in a great location, close to public transport and a shopping mall. The bed was comfortable but the room was too hot but this was immediately resolved by providing a fan.

The room was clean. Being an Executive room, the view of the Eiffel Tower was good. However, considering it is a 4-star hotel, I was really disappointed that they provided a cheap sofa that looked like recycled furniture; whenever I sat on it, the cushions would slide out, constantly exposing the metal frame. Furthermore, I ordered pizza and 15cl wine via room service, but they only filled a tiny glass about a quarter full. I was horrified to see that they even filled it with ice. This cost 11 euros. I felt like I was being treated like a sucker, which was very unpleasant. The staff's service and friendliness were poor, and they didn't speak English well either. The breakfast quality wasn't great either. The cup was a chipped mug. My lips touched the chipped part while drinking coffee, and it felt very dirty. The wine served in a tiny glass only a quarter full was truly shocking. I felt like I had been ripped off. It is a shame I didn't take a picture because I was so dumbfounded.
