Stayed here in Room 255 for 2 nights 2nd March 2026. The Hotel has a great Carpark and Reception well staffed with quality people. The bar area is inviting and we enjoyed drinks here each night. The room was very well maintained with reasonable amenities considering it was a suite. The breakfast area was good and the staff brilliant. Great choice and the food well presented. The plate warmer was not really up to the breakfast presentation so be aware of that.

Stayed 2 nights and had a great time! Hotel room was clean and the bed was comfy. Little weird having toilet separate from the sink but easy enough to deal with. Bathroom bath and shower had great water pressure and plenty of room. Room was warmer than I'd like, I don't rate their temperature system but the air purifier was a nice touch! Staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout the stay, absolutely no complaints there, and I really liked the location. 10 minute walk into town, either down the main road or down the river path at the back which was very nice. Parking was expensive but it's a rare commodity in York and it charged by night (I've heard other hotels charge per day) and lasted till midnight on the last day of of our stay!
