Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Boat house. The accommodations were fantastic and romantic. Space was very clean and the nautical details were a nice touch. The breakfast materials were superb and allowed us to have breakfast at our convenience. Highly recommend staying here as a home base for exploring/enjoying Phillip Island.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is absolutely adorable — cozy, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches. Everything was perfectly in place and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the fireplace added such a lovely touch, and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was included and it was simply amazing! We also loved having a great coffee machine to start our mornings — such a nice detail. You can tell the hosts have put a lot of care into making this place special. Highly recommended!

It is a lovely cottage and well equipped with a fully functional kitchen, which gave us flexibility to have home cooked meals. Checking in was also a breeze and we enjoyed its proximity to the jetty which was a quiet area with beautiful scenery. However, one major problem we encountered during our stay was there was no hot water supply. The hot water supply only worked for the first night we checked in and that was it. We informed the owner the next morning once we discovered there was no hot water. He was really nice and immediately sent someone to check the property at around 4pm on the same day. We were there when the handyman came but there was still no hot water. We were told that it will take the tank a couple of hours to heat up, we trusted that and went out for the Penguin Parade. Came back to property late at night and was frustrated to know that there were still no hot water supply. As it was late, owner was unresponsive (which was reasonable). We had a toddler so it was impossible for her to take cold shower, so imagine all the hassle we had to go through by repeatedly boiling pots of water and bringing it over to the tub just so that she can have a proper shower. The handyman came again next morning but we were already all packed and ready to check out. It was a little disappointing as we had to endure cold showers for both of the mornings and it wasn’t comfortable. We were also frustrated that the handyman did not trust us when we told him that the problem was not fixed the first time he came around. Hopefully the guests who stayed at the lodge after us had a better experience than we did.
