We went for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The buffet was nothing special and the food was cold, so they really need to put more effort into the food during the holidays, especially since dinner is served so early. The entertainment was geared towards foreign tourists, and the worst part was... when the entertainer said he was switching to Spanish music and then started playing salsa and reggaeton... excuse me? An unforgettable experience.

I stayed at the hotel for five days over New Year's Eve. I'd stayed here about five years ago before, in a studio apartment. This time I had a double room. The reception staff were friendly, and they were always quick to help with any questions. Unfortunately, a late checkout wasn't possible—it was okay, but I could only request it on the day of departure. I also really liked the keys, which you wear on a wristband—they look great, and you can't lose or have the key stolen. I booked breakfast, which was okay, although very noisy. The food was standard, mediocre. The New Year's Eve dinner was very good. Now we come to the biggest drawback: the room. The hotel is on the pricier side. My room was clean, but very worn. The bed was uncomfortable because the springs were coming loose, and the water pressure felt like it was nonexistent. There were stains on the walls, broken items, and silverfish in the bathroom. The rooms were so poorly soundproofed that you could hear EVERYTHING from the neighbors. Chairs were constantly being pushed across the balconies, furniture being moved around? I have no idea. However, sleep (even with earplugs) was impossible after 8:30 a.m. The cleaning staff started shouting loudly. Apparently, cleaning could only be done with loud shouting and furniture moving. It was so loud that you could hear it even with ear protection, as everything was vibrating. All things I don't expect from a hotel of this class. I paid €1000 for 5 days including flights. In conclusion, if you get up at 7 a.m. every day or book a studio/apartment, it's probably okay. But I wouldn't book this hotel for a room.
