There's absolutely nothing to complain about at the accommodation. The owner is very friendly and helpful. And the staff makes it even better. A really great team.

We stayed for two nights. Room #1 has air conditioning (it works), but we didn't use the fan over the bed. There's a closet and a refrigerator (a rarity in Sri Lanka). There were no glasses in the room, but they kindly provided them for us. They also brought a mosquito coil for pleasant evenings on the veranda. The railway runs right in front of the hotel, so we slept soundly, which didn't bother us (we got beautiful photos by the railway). For the price, this is a good hotel! Great ocean views from the window and a wonderful beach with free sun loungers. The breakfast is basic but delicious, with the freshest fruit; the owner personally goes to the farm to buy it. The hotel has a doctor who offers massage services. The staff was warm and wonderful, helping us with everything from calling a taxi and tuk-tuk, to delivering and serving fresh fruit, and just being pleasant! Thanks to all the staff and our new friend Chamod🤗. We highly recommend ❤️

Ocean View is just wonderful, with its proximity to the golden Bentota beaches and location to local shops, restaurants and travel facilities. The staff are impressive by their knowledge, helpfulness and willingness to ensure a good stay. We were here for 16 days and are planning a return trip here. Being located about 90 minutes south of Colombo airport, Galle is 45/50 minutes by train. This has been one of the most authentic, welcoming holiday experiences of my lifetime.
