Ocloud Hotel Gangnam

It's very convenient, less than a 5-minute walk from the exit of Sinnonhyeon Station. However, as someone who uses the bus frequently, it's not right in front of the bus stop, so it's less than a 5-minute walk, so it would have been great if the bus stop was closer. There's nothing I can do about it, so it can't be helped. I also think the rooms are relatively clean. The front desk staff and cleaning staff are very nice, and they clean every day. I'll make a note of the things I usually look out for in a hotel. - Shoes are removed. - Slippers are not disposable, so bring your own if that bothers you. - The refrigerator is slightly larger than the standard two-tier, with three drawers. - Two bottles of water are provided daily. - Microwave, kettle, and iron available. - Conditioner-in-shampoo (This is a shame.) - Body cream available (This is rare.) - The shower head is unusual: it's rod-shaped, with a small amount of water, so the pressure is weak. (This will likely change if they change the head...hopefully.) - Two bath towels and two face towels (changed daily.) - Washlet available, with flushable paper towels. - Comb and shower cap available (I forgot the others.) - The Vidal Sassoon hair dryer has a powerful, powerful blow. - There's a three-quarter-sleeve gown, but it's a bit short, so you'll need to wear something underneath. - The air conditioner makes a little noise to show that it's working hard. - It's nice that it protects you from direct wind. - Room temperature can be adjusted in the room. - Two soft pillows available, but the sheets have small stains. - No outlet by the pillow! Not many outlets! I read a review that reflected this, but the layout of the standard double room was changed to reflect their feedback, revealing hidden electrical outlets (one at the head of the bed, one on the side, and one under the desk). ← I'm impressed that customer feedback was reflected. In exchange, the bench by the window shown in the photo was gone. - The room was spacious enough to spread out a large suitcase. - There was no full-length mirror, but there was a large mirror in the bathroom and a makeup-sized mirror on the desk. - I arrived early in the morning, but there was always someone at the front desk, so they were happy to store my luggage. - The lobby also seemed comfortable. - The staff changed between morning and afternoon, but some spoke Japanese, while others spoke a little, so I had no trouble communicating using a translation app. - The closest Exit 9 from Sinnonhyeon Station is marked as an escalator on NAVER, but it only goes partway up the stairs, so if you have a suitcase, it's better to use the escalator at Exit 8. - Exit 8 also allows you to get to the hotel through the building or through a gap between buildings, so it's not much different from Exit 9. - Having two convenient exits. The first floor exit is convenient for the main street near the station and bus stops, while the B1 exit is convenient for the back streets with many convenience stores and coffee shops. Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is until 12:00 PM, making this a rare and valuable hotel. The walls are thin, so outside noise is audible. I heard some noise from the next room, but the noise from the garbage collection in the middle of the night was extremely loud, which surprised me, but it only lasted a few minutes and was within tolerance. (Maybe because I was on the third floor.) The rooftop garden offers no view. You can access it from the emergency stairs on the top floor, but when I tried to see the night view, it had a strangely intimidating atmosphere, which was different from what I expected. Also, there was a fenced-in area, so there was no city view, so I left immediately. There's a parking lot, so it's open 24 hours a day? There's also a security guard, and the front desk is on the first floor, so I feel safe. I wrote everything down before I forgot. Overall, the hotel is a little dated, but the service was more than worth it, despite the reasonable price! I'll definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at Ocloud Hotel, and the biggest highlight is definitely the location. It’s right next to Sinnonhyeon Station, which makes getting around Seoul very convenient. Even late at night, it feels easy and safe to come back. The room was clean and well-maintained. It’s not luxurious, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Pajamas are provided, which is a nice touch and saves you from bringing your own. The shower water pressure was strong with no issues, and the toilet comes with a bidet, which is especially convenient for Japanese travelers. Overall, I was able to stay there without any stress.

Really good location, next to Sinnyeonhan Station and 5 mins walk to Gangnam Station (on the Line 2 City Loop). Lots of restaurants all around.
