Everything started off well enough: the communication with reception was perfect, especially regarding our late arrival. But things gradually deteriorated: while the room was spacious with a lovely view of the Roman arena, the ventilation system in the kitchenette, located directly opposite the bed, emitted a constant and intrusive noise that was impossible to reduce and significantly impacted our sleep – despite leaving a message with reception and receiving a quick reply promising a solution... for the next day. The breakfast served on the 4th floor was basic and offered nothing special – certainly not for a 4-star hotel. Back in the room, a distant, barely audible ring – clearly coming from the building – suddenly sounded. No movement in the hallways, two unanswered calls to reception... so we decided to leave abruptly, abandoning our luggage... just as the alarm stopped ringing... In the bathroom (which was rather small with a toilet that wasn't separate), there was no shower gel, and a rather unpleasant sewer smell wafted from the drains the first time we used it... Again, the 4-star rating doesn't seem justified. In the end, a very mixed experience that left us feeling frustrated because the potential is real, the staff absolutely charming (and eager to find a solution to every problem – including offering us a late checkout due to a minor health issue), and the location exceptional. An experience not to be repeated in its current state, but one that could easily be improved! NB: Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the wellness area, which might have lessened our overall sense of disappointment.

The aparthotel is incredibly well located, right next to the arena and the city center. It's spacious and modern. The staff is friendly and welcoming. However, some rooms are a bit noisy, whether from outside or internal noises (ventilation, electrical panel), and they remain too bright at night due to poorly fitting curtains. Breakfast is adequate, but at €18, it's very expensive for what it is.
