Okinawa Grand Mer Resort

I stayed here for about a week for work. There are no convenience stores in the area, and the taxi driver said that this area has the second-highest number of love hotels in the prefecture, after Naha. (The teacher who accompanied me said, "It's good because there's no need to worry about escapes (and even if they do escape, there's nowhere for them to hang out).") However, there are many free buses from the hotel to AEON Mall Okinawa Rycom, and same-day reservations are available, so it wasn't an inconvenience. There are also many rental car companies, and being able to rent from the front desk was particularly helpful. The snacks and amenities provided were also a nice touch. MUJI lotion and milk are always available in the room. There are coin laundries on each floor, each costing 200 yen per load (washing and drying). I'm not sure what kind of detergent they use, but they do have it on hand. I booked a free bus from the airport to the hotel, but the hotel was unaware of the major changes to the bus terminal at Naha Airport that occurred shortly after the start of 2026, and I was unable to board the bus. (When I called, they responded very quickly and courteously.) The bus does not arrive at the departure and arrival point listed on the website, so if you're considering using the free bus, make sure to check the drop-off point carefully. Getting to the hotel by any means other than this bus or a rental car would be a huge hassle. Despite all the issues, the quality of the breakfast buffet, the gym, and other aspects made this a very satisfying business trip. I'd definitely use it again if I have the opportunity.

We stayed for three nights on a family trip. As it was during training camp season, we had the unexpected pleasure of meeting professional baseball players and women's softball players at the hotel. I was surprised at how clean and spacious the room was. It was great that there was plenty of space to walk around even with two large suitcases spread out. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to get to anywhere, but I'm a bit directionally challenged so I got lost several times on my way back to the hotel...I kept winding my way into residential areas... The dinner buffet (once) and breakfast buffet (three times) were both delicious and great. I thought it was very reasonable considering the price.

The room was spacious, and although the facilities were a bit dated, it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also great value for money. In summary, the 9-day trip was clean, spacious, and offered excellent value for money.
