I stayed here for one night and I’m honestly glad it wasn’t any longer, because the 16 hours I spent there were extremely unpleasant. When we first arrived, we were assigned a room that was clearly dirty. The bed wasn’t made and it honestly looked like the room hadn’t even been cleaned yet. I attached a picture. We couldn’t even tell if someone was still in the bathroom. We had to go back down to the front desk to address it. Dami at reception was very kind, apologized, and upgraded our room, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. We went to the bar around 10:30pm to redeem the complimentary drink, and the older Asian male bartender completely ignored us. He didn’t even acknowledge us or make eye contact. Instead, he made a rude “cut it off” gesture with his hand toward us. My boyfriend went over to speak to him, and the bartender still refused to address him. Meanwhile, there were still people sitting in the bar area drinking. It was extremely rude and uncomfortable. The next morning, we woke up to an envelope slipped under the door telling us to stop by the front desk regarding valet payment. We went downstairs, paid for valet, and were given a receipt. When we went to the valet to get our car, one of the attendants told us the system showed that we hadn’t paid. I explained that we had just resolved it at the front desk and showed him the receipt. He initially grabbed the keys to get the car, but his coworker started yelling across the area telling him not to get the car because we “didn’t pay.” I again explained that we did and showed the receipt, but he kept insisting the system said otherwise. It escalated into a verbal argument with my boyfriend, which was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Eventually he called his supervisor, and even then I had to show the supervisor the receipt from the front desk proving that we had already paid. Only after that were we finally told we were “good to go.” The entire situation was incredibly frustrating and handled in a very unprofessional way. Based on the way we were treated throughout the experience, I truly believe there was a racial component involved. The supervisor gave us his card and said we were welcome to return, but after this experience, I would absolutely never stay here again.

Rooms didn't have in room coffee which is so common now. Nice otherwise. Restaurants pricey side but located in city center with many options. Easy subway access to everywhere.
