It doesn't start well and doesn't improve... The lift out the front doesn't really work so was less than ideal travelling with a 1 year old in a pushchair and a load of luggage. (Worked 1 in 6 attempts for us.) The self check-in system is poor and there are loads of staff stood round so it's a bit pointless and doesn't start the experience overly well. There are 20-30 non residents sat in the lobby at all time (yes even 8:00pm on a Saturday night) on their laptops "being seen" I was informed. This makes the area totally useless for the actual residents so I couldn't tell you what the lobby bar is like. The rooms are really nice and have lots of amenities. However, the windows being installed is pretty pointless as the seals around them are ornamental. If you're not planning on sleeping until 4am then this is the hotel for you. The bars across the road don't close until 3:30am which in a normal hotel with proper sound insulation wouldn't be an issue. However, here you can hear every conversation, shout, car engine, etc. even though we were on the 5th floor. Police cars and ambulances going past in the middle of the night with sirens on sound like they are in the room with you. So if you are daft enough to book this hotel after reading this review, bring ear plugs with you. It's odd that pretty much everything in the room that's not nailed down is for sale. I've seen shops that are less well stocked. Pretty much every surface that you'd expect to be available for storing clothes and your personal items is taken up by the 'mini' bar. All of which is at astronomical prices. There is a Tesco express over the road so you'd have to be desperate to use the mini bar. Overall the worst night sleep I've had in a London hotel. And I've got to say that from what the expectations were when we walked into a really nicely presented hotel room, what a disappointment! (We stayed during half-term and paid £1400 for 3 nights in 2 adjoining rooms). We will not be returning.

Stayed here for work and had a really nice time. Location’s spot on and the whole place was lovely. Shoutout to Hannah on the front desk team 🎉 She helped me sort a cab to King’s Cross, even came outside with my luggage and helped me get it down the couple of steps at the entrance. Made sure I got in the right cab and everything! Left a nice taste before leaving London. Would recommend.
