Very similar to Dormy except a little bit more Japanese style (you can't wear your shoes anywhere in the hotel, rooms have tatami). However, I prefer Dormy. Having to take out your shoes every time you enter the hotel and keep track of a key is a hassle. This will probably be the last time I stay here. Staff are okay but not super nice. Maybe because they get so many tourists. Breakfast was so so quality and long wait. Location moght be good for some but a little too raucous and touristy for me. Folks who love this place probably have not stayed at many Japanese hotels.

Fantastic hotel with an ideal location, just a few minutes' walk from Tenjo-ji Temple in Asakusa. The onsen was fabulous, the complimentary snacks (ice cream and refreshing milk) were a real bonus, and above all, the breakfast was incredible: a wide variety of choices and a typical Japanese menu, with some international items like croissants as well. If you're looking for comfort, I highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: - really close to sensoji, great location on the west end - hotel very clean - onsen super relaxing after a long day - yummy breakfast, though not a large variety of items Cons - this is the main one, the walls/floors are PAPER THIN. I can hear people talking outside in the hallway constantly, and people stomping around upstairs at like 4am even while wearing earplugs. Ive stayed at multiple hotels/airbnbs in Japan, and this is the first one I've been to with this problem. - the hotel is not actually what I'd consider close to any subway, its around a 10min walk from the entrance to all the lines nearby - the hotel room isn't small per say, but much smaller than the same kind of room I stayed at in kanda (see my other review)
