The room had a certain negative smell. But other than that, was one of the best breakfasts I had in Kyoto. Free unlimited ice cream at night. And unlimited soba at nigh too. Ofcourse the onsen was nice and the massage chair too. Taking off your shoes in the lobby was alright but a bit of getting used too.

Newly opened in 2021 Advantages => Delicious breakfast, ramen for late-night snacks from 9-11 pm, popsicles after hot spring bath, Yakult in the morning, massage chairs, free drinks, coffee available until 11 pm – these are all standard features of Dormy. Disadvantages => 😅471 rooms, check-in is very time-consuming. 😅Shoes are provided in lockers upon entry; keep your key. There are 861 lockers, which is insufficient. Latecomers must put their shoes in plastic bags provided by the hotel and carry them back to their rooms. 😅When the hotel is fully booked, the hot spring bath is packed like sardines, with people everywhere. 😅During my two-night stay, I noticed the housekeeping staff couldn't finish cleaning the rooms after check-out. Those with allergies or asthma should consider the environment (dust, tatami mats). 😅Breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 10:00 am, but when the hotel is full... You absolutely must queue before 6:30 AM. I arrived at 8:00 AM on my first day and got my first-ever number at Dormy. Breakfast wasn't until 9:45 AM, and the queue started as soon as I got my tray. Given the table turnover rate, it probably went through 3-4 times when the hotel was full. I saw many guests leaving in frustration because they couldn't get breakfast and eating out. When eating seafood donburi, please be mindful of whether you can accept the staff putting the sashimi into your bowl with their hands. I only dared to scoop out salmon roe after seeing that. Aside from that, the breakfast was truly delicious.

This was my first time at Nono, a Dormy hotel. There were plenty of baths, which was nice. The rooms were Japanese-style, as you'd expect in Kyoto. The breakfast had so many options it was hard to choose. It was delicious. The New Year's Eve soba and ramen were delicious. Even though it was late at night, there was a line.
