Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Kinugawa Kanko Hotel

Both the rooms and food were of a high standard, but three elevators is a bit few for a hotel of this size (up to nine floors)... Meals were buffet style both in the evening and in the morning, and while other hotels often have a limited selection in the morning, it was nice to see a good selection of food available in the morning. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but if you try hard it's within walking distance. I often wondered whether to take the bus. The manga section had a decent selection of popular manga, but not as many as I expected. But it was sufficient. There were only two ping-pong tables, and it was quite crowded. Even taking that into consideration, I'm glad I stayed here.

I stayed at this hotel during my New Year's holiday. I usually stay at the Asaya Hotel because of the appealing "three-star buffet" concept. However, this year I chose this one. The seafood dishes were particularly excellent, surpassing those at the Asaya Hotel in both taste and quality. While the other dishes are somewhat subjective, I think the Asaya Hotel is generally superior, but I highly recommend this hotel for seafood lovers. I stayed in a suite, which was very clean and comfortable. While some areas of the hotel were undergoing renovation, the overall feel was clean and well-maintained. On the other hand, I was a little disappointed that I had little opportunity to interact with the hotel staff, leaving little impression on me. Also, the lounge only offered iced drinks, so the selection was limited. While this may be good for those who enjoy alcohol, it lacked appeal for those who don't. Overall, I was satisfied with the food (especially the seafood) and the room, but I think the hotel could have been even better if they had improved their service.

However, while the buffet has separate entry times, it can get quite crowded if you arrive exactly at the designated time. People often gather near the entrance, and I sometimes can't find a seat right away. It's best to arrive a little later or with plenty of time to spare. While this is a busy season, it's best to know in advance. The hot springs can also get crowded at certain times, especially during the New Year's holiday. However, there were plenty of washing areas, so I rarely had to wait, which was very helpful. The bath itself was spacious, so even when there were a lot of people, I didn't feel cramped. I think you could relax more if you went at a different time. On the other hand, the entertainment facilities were a bit disappointing. The karaoke and table tennis were already fully booked, so I couldn't use them. I understand that there are many people wanting to use them during the New Year period, but it was a bit disappointing as I was looking forward to them. If you're planning on using these facilities, it's probably best to make a reservation immediately upon arrival or check whether they require advance reservations. The facility was clean, and the staff were polite and attentive. I felt that the atmosphere was welcoming and welcoming to a wide range of customers, including families, couples, and friends. It's located in the Kinugawa Onsen area, making it an easy-to-find and convenient base for a hot spring trip. Even though it can get crowded, this is still a highly recommended inn for those who prioritize food and want to enjoy a comfortable hot spring. I think the satisfaction level will be particularly high if you're looking for the buffet.
