It’s not usual for me to leave a review however i must say: Location was good, roughly 15 min walk from most places and bolt taxi’s are a reasonable price for beyond that. If you wake up later than expected after one to many in the ruins then there are many nearby bakery’s and cafes that are reasonably priced. The staff were very polite and the food was pretty decent for the hotel price. Buffet style, eggs bacon, coffee machine (takes a few try’s but works in the end) and various pastry items and more. The rooms is what has made me leave such a low review for the experience overall, We stayed in the building opposite the main building, it was clean, tv worked and had a fully functioning kitchen. However on 3 occasions in our 4 night stay the hot water was not available for both the shower and the sinks. I thought this is understandable of a late night as I was getting back rather late on most nights however on my last morning I wanted a shower before we checked out and the shower was not lukewarm but Ice cold. I spoke to the receptionist when checking out and was told my tourist tax was paid for as an apology. I thought this was is a good compromise however after further thought I feel like it was not given how little tourist tax is compared to the price to stay in a hotel of this nature for 4 nights, I then had to go onto my flight and journey home having not showered in the morning or night before. If the water situation did not happen, I would have gave this place 5 stars, however I think that if your paying for these amenities (showers etc) it should be rightfully made available whenever regardless of building age or infrastructure. Otherwise state this issue in the hotel description so customers can plan ahead, I also feel like the tourist tax paid for was not enough to cover this issue.
