Location is minutes walk to main orchard shopping be belt. Car park is quite dark maybe becoz the hotel not so new. Good Chinese restaurant. Came for a seminar.

My first ever review of a Hotel. Booked 3 nights in a superior room with club access at this 5 star hotel February 2026. Had several issues, these are some: 1. The room allocated was a nicely equipped room alongside the elevator on the 17th floor and we could hear the rhythmic clunk clunk clunk of the elevator when in use. After queuing at reception we were allocated another room on level 11 and asked to pack up the room on level 17 and return with our luggage to reception to collect keys to the new room. After some discussion it was agreed we would obtain keys for level 11 and retain keys for 17 and return keys for level 17 when we had moved all our belongings. No assistance was offered. 2. A sofa bed on level 11 had to be returned to a sofa. When done a used slipper was under the sofa. We found an ATM receipt under the bed. A coffee machine which was on level17 was not available on level 11. 3. A return trip to reception with another que to get our keys reprogrammed to collect the last of our belongs from 17 and ask for a coffee pod machine "Not available in that room it is a lesser standard room than your previous room. " 4. Bathroom on level 11 had a wad of tissue paper stuck to the glass sliding door for our entire stay. Grout around the basin was mouldy, grout around the bath appears to have been applied with a spoon. 5. Could not access the club lounge on level 17 so keys were reprogrammed again thanks to the manager of the club lounge who went out of her way to resolve some of the issues encountered. We have stayed in many hotels in Singapore from Marina Bay Sands to the Amara and hotels throughout the world. The Orchard is the only hotel that fell well short of our expections. It appears overdue for major refurbishment.
