Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay

The front desk staff at check-in and the staff who shuttled us from the park were both very kind, and I was very satisfied with the service. It's truly a partner hotel, and I'd definitely use it again.

The staff's attitude was terrible, especially at check-in. Can't they even look me in the eye when they talk? They just take the bill without any explanation of the plan, breakfast, or amenities, and it's frustrating. Do we really have to ask about every single thing? It made me wonder, is this really a four-star hotel? Is it really a Disney partner hotel? I came to stay at this hotel feeling happy after my Disney trip, but it suddenly became unpleasant and it was the worst. The other hotels on our four-day, three-night trip were great, so I was so disappointed that I made the wrong choice of hotel for my last stay. I wish they would stop making overly positive videos on social media. I will never stay here again.

I stayed here over the New Year holidays. I'd been interested in this partner hotel for a while, so I decided to stay here. I was looking forward to the amenities and welcome lounge available. The lobby floor seemed a bit dark overall. The guest room was neither good nor bad. It was fine for a stay. The only thing that bothered me was that the shower head didn't stay in place properly and kept moving around. When I arrived (between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM), there was no hair oil and the only medium-sized baby diapers available. The amenities were replenished by around 7:00 PM, but the hotel was packed with people returning from Disney, those after dinner, and those who had checked in, so there wasn't much time to choose. Personally, I really liked the welcome lounge, where they served beer and sparkling wine. When I arrived around 7:00 PM, the lounge was crowded and some of the snacks were missing. I didn't mind that, but the area around the snacks was really dirty. I did think it would be nice if they cleaned it once every hour. No matter what time I went, it was dirty. For meals, I ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The second part of the meal was scheduled to start at 7:30pm, so I made a reservation. There was nothing particularly good about the food. I like roast beef, so I was excited when they cut it up and served it in front of me, but I was surprised by how fatty it was. Sometimes I was miraculously able to get something without any fat, but everyone else was choosing pieces that avoided fatty foods, so if you came at the wrong time, you'd end up with something fatty... The sushi vinegar was dry, so it stuck to the tongs and was difficult to put on a plate, and I couldn't even begin to describe it as "delicious." In that respect, the salad was unusually plentiful. The breakfast was the same, with a bland menu. Breakfast was crowded, so those who wanted to eat were directed to the banquet hall on the third floor, but it was actually less crowded than the restaurant on the second floor, so it was nice to be able to eat in a more relaxed atmosphere. It would have been even better if they had provided a place to put the kamameshi lid. I had the kamameshi lid in my left hand and a rice paddle in my right, and the tray was half-hanging out, so it was unstable and I was worried the tray would fall. On the second day, we went to a Chinese restaurant, but it was just so hot!! It was so hot it was hard to breathe and I lost half my appetite. However, as it was Chinese, many of the dishes were spicy, but everything was delicious! The spare ribs were especially great. The convenience store in the building had some Disney merchandise for sale, but to be honest, it was all the kind of stuff you could buy anywhere. As for socks, I thought they might sell them at Seri〇. I felt like you couldn't make up for the things you couldn't buy in the park here. Even though it was extremely crowded, I felt the quality of the staff was good. Although it may depend on the group of people there that day. Overall, I had high expectations because it was a partner hotel, but I was disappointed.
