We stayed at this hotel in the summer. It's advertised as a three-star hotel, but the facilities are clearly outdated: the decor, furniture, and interiors are old-fashioned. The mattress was terrible, uncomfortable, and completely unworthy of the hotel's rating. The room was in a poorly designed new section, forcing us to walk through the central dining area while other guests were having breakfast or dinner. It was inconvenient and unprofessional. Furthermore, some of the windows wouldn't open. On the plus side, the room had beautiful views, and when we needed anything at reception, they were helpful and attentive. The serious problem was the food and the allergens. We were assured they had an allergen menu and gluten-free options prepared separately. This wasn't the case. The next day, my friend suffered food poisoning after dinner: vomiting and diarrhea. We were lucky it was just digestive issues, because someone else could have ended up in the hospital. This is serious negligence. To top it all off, they charged us extra for parking, which turned out to be small and inadequate. The hotel owner left his car blocking the exit, forcing us to go to reception to have it moved. They tried to claim it belonged to another guest who had parked illegally when it was actually his. Quite annoying. In conclusion: old hotel, poor rest, irresponsible allergen management, and an overall negative experience. I do not recommend it, especially to people with food intolerances or health problems.
