The Hidden-Fee gymnastics. I did not sign up for this. Stayed at Palihouse for 5 nights and… wow. If you like surprise charges and slow valet roulette, this is your place. Parking: There is no self-parking — only a $50/day valet that sometimes brings you the wrong car or can’t find your keys. I spent more time waiting for the valet than I did at Century city’s shopping mall. Resort fee: They also charge a $35/day “resort” fee, which is hilarious because nothing here resembles a resort. Unless “resort” now means “regular hotel with a tiny pool and extra fees.” Value: We ended up paying around $450/day, and the “premium” Dyptique products felt like someone poured regular shampoo into a fancy-looking bottle. Peak LA scam energy. Overall: Palihouse feels like a vibe tax with walls. Plenty of great hotels in LA — this just isn’t one of them. Bring your wallet and your patience… or better, go somewhere else.

I will stay here again! Had the best service in a lovely hotel. Close to so many great restaurants and a few shops including the infamous ‘OK’.
