This is the best hotel if you're staying near the pyramids. I wanted to stay at a hotel with a view of the pyramids from my room, and the famous Marriott, located north of the pyramids, was a good option, but it was way over my budget. After looking around, I found many hotels on the east side of the pyramids, and this one wasn't too expensive, and I decided on this one because it offered views of all three pyramids and even the Sphinx. The reception staff were extremely kind, cheerful, and truly pleasant. One of the two entrances to the pyramids is just a minute's walk away, and the rooftop bar offers everything you need, including breakfast, dinner, drinks, and even shisha. I think this is only possible if there is a room available, but I was able to use the room after check-out. I had an overnight bus scheduled for the following night, and I needed to take a shower and change, so I asked if they would let me use it for free, which I was really grateful for. It also seems to be frequented by many Japanese people (?), and on the day we stayed there were two or three other groups of Japanese tourists using the hotel. This may give women in particular a sense of security (?). The elevator in the hotel is a manual type, something you rarely see in Japan these days, which I personally found very exciting.
