Claiming a public beach for themselves? I don't even want to say what I wish on these people. 🤬😤🤯🤢 But of course, there's a standard response for that, like blah blah blah, we care about everyone... blah blah, 2000 baht and you're our friend... I hope more people react negatively to this behavior. Maybe once they start earning less, they'll change their ways.

Prepare to step into actual paradise at Paradee Resort on Koh Samet! This isn’t just a luxury getaway; its name literally translates to “The Sixth Heaven,” and trust me, it delivers on every single bit of that promise. Tucked away on the ultra-secluded Ao Kiew Beach, it feels like you’ve discovered your own private island sanctuary where the rest of the world simply ceases to exist. What makes it even better is how incredibly easy it is to get there from Bangkok. It’s just a 2.5-hour car ride to the pier, where you can leave your vehicle safely in the resort’s private parking lot. From there, the resort provides a free speedboat transfer that whisked us straight to the island. The best part? The boat stops directly at the hotel beach / pier of their own, so there is absolutely no extra traveling needed once you hit the water and a few meters to your hotel room. They provide golf cars that can also take you around if you really do not want to walk. We love this place so much that we actually closed out the entire hotel (40 rooms) for our wedding! It was a total dream come true… truly amazing from start to finish. The staff were absolute legends, being incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire weekend to make sure everything was perfect. We had customized gifts for all individual rooms and staff was so helpful to help us arrange everything before checkin time (we ran around like crazy people for a few hours!). I know it is hard to accommodate some things as it is an island (need to get stuff from mainland) but somehow they managed all our requirements. For example, all the extra beds were there in every room we asked (and wasn’t little amount either!) and the flower set up was nice and minimal like we wanted. It really is the best place to bring together friends and family for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration; all our friends want to return every single year to relive the magic. The accommodations are next-level. Each room is huge and spacious at 100 sqm, and most are gorgeous pool villas with a private pool right within reach. It was a hit for everyone; all our friends' kids had a blast, and the adults had just as much fun! Between the insanely fine, powdery white sand and the crystal-clear turquoise water, it feels like living inside a postcard. One of the absolute highlights you can't miss is the Sunset Bar. Perched right on the rocks, it’s the ultimate spot to grab a cocktail while the sky explodes into color, and it served as the perfect spot for our afterparty! What a memorable time we had.. we love it so much. Whether you're snorkeling in the pristine bay or dancing the night away under the stars, Paradee is pure, unadulterated magic.
