I'm a regular Parador guest and, frankly, I expected more from this one. The room was very spacious and comfortable, but the views were awful: they overlooked the road and some bricks in front of the window, probably due to ongoing construction. The room's location was quite unpleasant. There was no kettle or complimentary water, which surprised me greatly, as it's the first time this has happened to me at a Parador. Even in a standard room, we've always had these amenities at other Parador hotels. The room's Wi-Fi didn't work, so we couldn't connect Netflix to the TV. The breakfast had little variety, and the two toasters available didn't work properly: one burned the bread, and the other was excessively slow. Furthermore, although the staff was friendly and attentive, it was clear that there was a staff shortage, especially during breakfast and dinner service. On the positive side, parking is free, and the Parador's location is good, close to the city center. The highlight of the dinner was the variety of breads they offered; olive bread is hard to find, I've only ever seen it in Córdoba and at this Parador, and the olive oil was very good too. The cleaning staff were very polite and friendly. In short, it's not one of the best Paradores we've stayed in. There are several things they should improve, especially considering the price isn't exactly cheap. We wouldn't stay here again.

A good Parador. Well located and very close to the oldest part of Antequera. I was particularly impressed with Antequera itself. A beautiful place. Breakfast at the Parador needs improvement; there's little variety, and the scrambled eggs, although supposedly freshly made, were cold and overcooked.
