It's not a historic building, but that's a fact you know when you book; and despite being a few years old, it still feels like a modern, comfortable, versatile, and pleasant Parador for guests. We stayed before the Christmas holidays, two nights in two rooms with full board. And yes, I'm certain this Parador is on my list of places to return to—other Paradores don't even come close. The rooms are modern, spacious, very functional, and all (due to the building's location) have sea views. They're well-equipped with home automation systems, similar to the Parador de León, but with a much more comfortable bathroom. The food is quite good, and I can't praise it much more because the lunch/dinner menu, while high-quality, isn't very extensive, but mainly because they always seem to have the bad habit of reserving the tables by the windows for couples, and families of four are relegated to a secondary position, generally near the kitchen. In any case, the staff is very attentive and always on hand, both in the restaurant and the café. Breakfast, upstairs, was enjoyable; it's a spacious room with plenty of seating, and, interestingly, a cook prepares the hot dishes for you (after you ring the bell)—in other Paradores, since the pandemic, it's normal for hot dishes to be ordered à la carte and brought to the table. The parking is convenient and spacious and has electric vehicle charging stations at a reasonable price. The cleanliness and reception were good, as you would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

The hotel feels very high-end and luxurious. Our Junior Suite was extremely spacious, featuring a living room and a huge balcony with a lovely sea view. The room layout was also very creative. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The parking is extremely spacious for European standard! The location is slightly away from the old town — about a 10-minute walk — which we appreciated, as it’s quieter and not right in the center. Overall, a fantastic stay
