We had another truly wonderful stay at the Paradu Resort in Donoratico, Tuscany. We've now been there eight times. The resort is idyllically situated in a wooded area, where charming little houses are scattered about. They seem to be renovated every year and are equipped with everything you could need. The houses aren't simply lined up in rows, but are nestled among ancient pine trees, blending beautifully into the natural surroundings. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and there are fantastic pools as well as a consistently clean beach. There are also restaurants, and the poolside espresso bar is exactly what you'd imagine in Italy to be. What we particularly appreciate is the unique vibe of the resort: It's not a sterile 4-star superior property, but a place with its own charm and a relaxed, natural flow that we always enjoy.
