Location next to the supermarket and 15 minute walk from Playa Manzanillo is very convenient. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are very accomodating. The bathroom was unfortunately very moldy and smelled like it. Every single night of our stay we also heard dogs loudly fighting around midnight - 1am. Personally a 3.5/5

I requested a triple room for more space, as it cost the same as a double. What they didn't tell me was that the room overlooked a farm. See photo. All night long, there were barking dogs, meowing cats, and chickens and roosters. It was a complete madhouse. The TV didn't work, and the room lock was broken. The bathroom had the soap and shampoo dispensers outside the shower, so after showering, everything was flooded. Literally. We asked to change rooms, and they gave us a double in a normal, more or less quiet area. The bathroom situation was the same, but at least we were able to sleep. When we arrived, the pool water was incredibly cloudy. They were cleaning it as we were leaving… Breakfast was quite good; each day there was a different option to choose from. They had a strange internet system: if you left your room, you lost your connection. Neither Wi-Fi nor mobile data. I wouldn't recommend it for work, or for stays longer than two days.
