We booked an overnight stay with a spa treatment for myself and my partner at Park Hall Hotel, paying £279 for the package. The booking was confirmed online, so we had no reason to believe there would be any issues. The following day, a member of staff contacted us to say there was no overnight accommodation available on the date we had booked — despite the booking having already been confirmed. We were then told that if we still wanted to stay overnight, we would need to return four days later for the spa treatment, as the spa was fully booked. This completely defeated the purpose of booking a package and was not what we had paid for. As the hotel was unable to provide the package due to their own lack of availability, we were told we were entitled to a full refund. However, despite this, we are still waiting for our money to be returned. I have been calling daily to follow this up and every time I ask to speak to a manager, I am told none are available. There appears to be a serious lack of communication between staff, and no ownership taken to resolve the issue. This situation has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. For a hotel of this standard, I would expect accurate booking systems, better internal communication, and timely refunds when services cannot be delivered. At this point, I have very little confidence that the refund will be processed without further action. I would not recommend booking packages here unless these issues are addressed.

Lovely place, being done up which is good. Went for new years, staff were all friendly and helpful. Party was great. We uses the gaming centre too, kids loved it. Food was good too.
