The location of this hotel is fantastic. Rooms are large and spacious. Hotel lobby bar was always a good spot for a cocktail and service was fantastic. Was highly disappointed in the concierge service here. We heavily rely on recommendations and help when we travel from the concierge. I asked multiple times and months in advance for kid friendly things to do and want given much information either time. After doing research myself I was able to purchase tickets to some events or some events were unfortunately sold out. I was told the kids functions in the park for NYE was 6-8 pm when in fact they were 2-6 so after bundling up 2 groups of children we walked out in the freezing cold to nothing going on, we were also misled into purchasing extra tickets for the later portion of the NYE party on the lake incurring us an extra 120 CHF x 6 people. Overall just horrible, horrible services the concierge. Would not stay here again because of this reason.

Very satisfying stay, with high levels of staff professionalism. The rooms are very nice, so are the towels and the mini bar is well-stocked. A couple of odd incidents kept our time from being perfect, a Christmas market cup taken from the room by housekeeping which was found and returned, and a room condition that was basically ignored for a day after reported, were both - in the end - handled professionally by staff, with sincere apologies and a very nice room upgrade. Check-in and checkout were good, except the bellman on checkout acted like he understood English and just stood there not understanding our request for a taxi. Breakfast room service was excellent. The bar is pretty decent, but we didn’t try the restaurant. The central lounge area has exceptionally nice staff. It is, basically, a very nice business hotel, without a whole lot of Zurich color like some of the other hotels at this price point. The location is very good though for the sights of the city and has easy access to the amazing tram system, which gets you quickly anywhere, even the 8 tram which gets you to Zurich West in 10 minutes.
