Park Inn By Radisson Peterborough

Lovely staff and made me feel welcome and looked after. They cared and put more effort than other basic hotel competitors.

There is a blonde manager there that is extremely rude. All 3 times I’ve had contact with her she was not pleasant. I typically stay at Hilton or Marriott but the location of this hotel was perfect for Peterborough, also my first time with a Radisson owned hotel. I will never book a Radisson again after this trip. P.S. you can’t drink in the hotel lobby

This hotel was very unexpectedly nice. We got the junior suite for 1 night. Room, 5th floor Junior Suite - Spacious, clean, complimentary snacks & bottle of water for 2 of us. TV in the Junior Suite & Bedroom & Sofa. In our room, we had slippers, toiletries, extra towels, good amount of storage space. Vanity table & chair (probably was a desk, but for me is a vanity table lol). Safe for keeping items protected, mini fridge, large table in the suite, perfect for working or cosy dining in experience. Seating - lots of seating areas, for convenience! This may seem strange for someone to mention in a review but when putting on shoes, getting dressed, or undressed having adequate chairs placed around a room is so useful & great to have. This was so nice as I didn’t have to sit in the bed or pull out a chair to sit down if needed. Bedroom is behind the wall, which I actually liked, it is an open plan situation but with privacy of the wall. Bed is large comfy & high up which I personally love, firm mattress & pillows are not flimsy. They felt like I was sinking into the bed in the BEST way possible. Curtains - complete blacked out & this was surprising as we love a dark room when getting a peaceful sleep. Electrical items- Bedside table has sufficient lights, & so many useful outlets & USB ports, if you forgot your main plug outlet no worries, the cable is more than enough! So many lamps & additional lights to choose from. Iron & ironing board, kettle & hairdryer all near power outlets for convenience & hassle free use. Bathroom/ toilet - Spacious, large sink area, with extra mirrors on the side of the wall, which was amazing to do skincare etc. Hand wash & Hand lotion on the side, Shower was very relaxing, pressure was great, had the over the head shower & the normal one. Bath mats, shower mat, lots of towels. Overall our experience was great, location was great as we stayed for 1 night & purpose of stay was to collect a passport as the Office is approx 5-10 minute or less walk to the office. We did not eat anything as breakfast wasn’t in our time schedule as we had a very busy day ahead of us. Bar downstairs is open until approximately 2-3am, serves drinks, & alcohol free drinks as well. Easy check in, parking is both public & the hotels parking, first come first serve basis, but usually there would be spaces available if you call up the friendly staff will help. It’s free! Just add your vehicle registration number. Air conditioner works, we like a cold room & it was cold. Overall had a pleasant stay, definitely would recommend for short stay & long! Great location, city centre & other amenities are not far at all.
