I just got back.... If you have the chance to go to this hotel, don't miss it. They sold it to me as a luxury hotel, and the only luxury it has is the beach. From the service to the attention, it was a disappointment. It's unacceptable to go on vacation to relax and run into problems. While I was listened to... their solutions never materialized. I spoke with the manager, Alejandro, and Fabián. Fabián tried to do more for my family. I felt he was more empathetic, however, you don't go to a hotel expecting them to solve your problems for you. The snack bar didn't have enough food for all the people at the hotel. While it might be considered high season... every hotel should be prepared for the estimated number of guests. At reception, I told them, "I'M NOT A HOTEL WORKER, BUT WHAT A HUGE LACK OF ORGANIZATION!" Huge lines at every restaurant. Many age restrictions that they don't mention. Nobody explains the different areas they have, where they are, or anything. My belongings were taken from the lounge chairs, as per the policy of removing them after 30 minutes of inactivity. This guy "Bryan," who, besides everything else, has a despotic attitude, had already taken them. It was as if they were doing me a favor, when I'm paying, and quite a lot of money at that. Regardless, it's unacceptable. Foreigners were left inactive for hours before 11:00 AM, and their belongings were never removed. The cleanliness in the pool bathrooms was terrible! During my stay, I witnessed unpleasant situations for hours on end! On the first day, the heated pool was closed. The pool bartenders had sour faces. Finding towels was a nightmare. Every time I went to eat after the aforementioned long wait, I had to listen to more than two families complaining about one thing or another. The manager, Alejandro, told me it was due to a lack of staff (excuse me, that's not our problem). If you ate dinner around 8:30, you'd hardly find all the buffet options. Honestly, I have zero desire to return, much less to give positive recommendations. I really hope they address this issue. I don't plan to return, but I'm going for all the people who will. So that no one else has to go through what I did. It's infuriating to pay for an all-inclusive package and have your children have nothing to eat. If I hadn't been assertive, I would have gotten food the first day. Otherwise... I don't know what would have happened. Our much-needed first vacation is over. What a shame.
