Excellent service from all the staff that we encountered, especially from Rav, Security Head and other members of the Concierge team when my wife lost a rubber ferrule from the end of one of her walking sticks. Rav went out of his way to find a replacement but could only find a close match. He then used engineering skills to make the ferrule fit until we could get the correct one on returning to the UK. The rooms are superb and as a Platinum Discovery member we were upgraded from Lifestyle Premier Room to a Signature Marina Bay Room with fantastic views of the Marina. We have stayed many times at this hotel since the days when it was called Marina Mandarin preferring it to other hotels that we have stayed at in Singapore. The only downside to the hotel is that its main restaurant is halal and therefore doesn't cater for the wider international visitor. Apart from animal welfare this means that no pork products which cater for the wider community are available in the restaurant. This is very unusual given the large Chinese local population as well as Western visitors. This is the reason that I have given 4 out of 5 stars.

The PARKROYAL Singapore boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of shopping malls and attractions, and conveniently accessible by MRT. The hotel's biggest highlight is its unique garden-style design; the lobby is surrounded by greenery, making dining feel like being in a tropical rainforest, a truly relaxing experience. While the rooms aren't large, they are clean and comfortable, with high-quality bedding and thorough housekeeping. The front desk service is friendly and efficient, with Chinese-speaking staff available. The breakfast offers a wide selection, including local specialties like Hainanese chicken rice. The only drawbacks are that some facilities are slightly outdated, and the placement of electrical outlets in the rooms is not ideal, making charging inconvenient. Soundproofing is average, but it's relatively quiet at night. Overall, this hotel features a distinctive design, excellent service, and good value for money, making it a recommended choice for travelers who value location and ambiance.
