We were delighted to celebrate our anniversary here and this is our review: From the very first moment you put your foot in the front door of this astonishing Palace, your body feels the shivers produced by the magnificence of this castle. This hotel embodies everything we can hope for in a five-star establishment: effortless warmth, impeccable service, delightful hospitality, and an elegant architecture in every corner that feels both refined and wonderful. The front office gentleman deserves special mention — not only for his professionalism, but for the delightful surprise of switching into fluent Spanish, which led to a genuinely amusing and memorable exchange. A unique charm that immediately set the tone for the stay. At the bar, Benny is nothing short of a maestro. Cool, charismatic, and clearly passionate about his craft, he prepared what can only be described as the finest Martini we have had in our memory — perfectly balanced, confidently executed, and served with style. Breakfast was elevated to an art form thanks to the omelette chef, a true master of his trade. Watching him work was like observing a seasoned conductor leading an orchestra — precision, flair, and exceptional results on the plate. The decoration on the omelette were absolutely brilliant Every member of staff contributed to an atmosphere of relaxed luxury: attentive without intrusion, friendly without losing polish. Simply put, everyone was so cool — the kind of team that makes you feel genuinely welcome rather than merely accommodated. An outstanding stay in every sense. One leaves already planning the return

A beautiful place in a wonderful location. Unfortunately, the accessibility and service are lacking in the area where the hotel is situated. We've stayed here countless times, celebrating with large groups of friends and spending many wonderful hours together. Almost everything went perfectly, but we did have to wait an hour for three portions of fries. We wanted to come back again for Christmas 2025, but it was simply impossible to reach anyone at the hotel or get a call back. After countless attempts, we finally got through to someone by phone, only to be told that the person in charge was currently unavailable but would call us back immediately. "Immediately" was never the case. So we ended up spending Christmas Eve at the Adlon, which wasn't bad, but it was a shame, because we also wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve at the Grunewald (again, no one ever answered the phone). We ended up doing that elsewhere as well and discovered the Ritz-Carlton with its fantastic bar. Goodbye Schlosshotel Grunewald – it's been two wonderful decades with you ❤️.

A lovely little 5-star hotel. The furniture might be a bit dated, but that's part of the hotel's charm. Castle-like ambiance. Clean. Elegant. Very professional and friendly service. Very extensive breakfast buffet. We felt very comfortable. Thank you again.
