For anyone that isn’t aware (as I wasn’t before visiting) this hotel used to be student accommodation - once realising this the massive list of negatives makes sense. The rooms are absolutely tiny, no bedside tables, no plugs by the bed, no air con, limited storage, paper thin walls where you can hear EVERYTHING in the joining rooms. The mattress has completely messed up my back and I’ve been in pain all day because of it. The toiletries they provide smell absolutely vile, I had to go out and buy shower gel etc from the shop. The discounted parking is still £14 per 24 hours which still seems insanely pricey. The ‘hotel’ is surrounded by current student accommodation and an abandoned car park, we had to have the window open to cool the room down and constantly had sewage smells coming in. Overall, I think this is possibly the worst ‘hotel’ I’ve ever stayed in.

This hotel needs a refurb. It appears to be stuck in the 80s/90s. Rooms feel like cheap student accommodation. The hand soap and body wash that the hotel provides smells absolutely disgusting.

Rooms are tiny, dusty and the bed/bedding uncomfortable. We went for a murder mystery night and why the company who run the night use this hotel is beyond me. The meal during the event was disgusting, it came out cold and in dribs and drabs. The fruit on my friends dessert was mouldy. The hotel is next door to a disused car park and the whole surrounding area is run down. Reception staff were pleasant. Why Murder 57 use this hotel to run their events is beyond me. It was that bad it was almost comical. Avoid!
