We booked this hotel for a stop over on a drive along the garden route and it really exceeded our expectations! The hotel and spa were beautiful, and the golf course was simply stunning! The food was also delicious and the staff all helpful and friendly. Will definitely look to visit again!

Pezula Resort truly deserves its star rating. Although it’s located about 10–15 minutes outside Knysna, this distance is actually one of its greatest strengths. Being slightly removed from the town gives the resort a peaceful, nature‑rich atmosphere with stunning views that you simply wouldn’t get in a more central location. The service throughout our stay was exceptional — every interaction with the staff was warm, professional, and immediate. The food, both at the restaurant and at breakfast, was excellent, and the entire property felt calm, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. Even during a water shortage, the resort proactively offered us credits as a gesture of goodwill, which was unexpected and deeply appreciated. The views across the property, including the golf course (which I didn’t play, but certainly admired), were absolutely beautiful. This is a place I would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with loved ones or close friends. We had no complaints at all — just a wonderful experience from start to finish.
