At first we booked the bunk bed through Agoda. When we arrived, the receptionist got angry because he said the bunk bed room has 6 beds, our family is 5 people, and 1 bed was already booked by another guest, I must booked all room. BUT 👇🏻 But actually, before booking, I already emailed the owner, Mr. Philip Rahman, and clearly explained that we are a family of 5 (male and female). I even asked whether I must to book 5 beds or all 6 beds to Mr. Philip. He replied me 5 beds only it’s okay, he will block the remaining 1 bed so the whole room will be for my family only and my family can enjoy it. When we arrived, the daytime receptionist did not even look at us or welcome us at the door. Only when we approached him and asked to check in, then he looked at us. He was not friendly at all and kept blaming us, saying we were not careful when booking. Hello? It’s not that we were not careful. I already confirmed everything with the owner before booking. I even showed him my phone and asked him to read the email conversation, but he was still rude. He even said in a harsh way, “You think lah,” while pointing to his head. That was quite shocking and disrespectful. He was a thin male staff working the afternoon shift. I don’t understand why there was such a miscommunication between the owner and the receptionist. Are they not communicating with each other properly? And I must payment for 1 bed +/- $80 🥲😇🙂🙃😅😂 Another disappointing thing is that the hotel WhatsApp number never replied. The owner’s WhatsApp also no response. We asked for photos and videos of the room before arrival, but no reply at all. The only way to contact Mr. Philip Rahman was through email, and that was only before booking. After booking, no more response. Anyway, the solution was that they moved the one guest to another room. Thank you for that arrangement. The room itself is very nice, clean, and we are satisfied. So overall, the room is good. Just the bad attitude from the daytime receptionist was disappointing. Still, thank you because he also helped us in the end. But next time, please don’t treat new guests like that. We are visitors, and it’s not nice to start with conflict. Also, for the night shift receptionist, his attitude is very good. He is very kind, welcoming, and even greeted guests who were just sitting and waiting. Very helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for that excellent service.

A very nice hotel, rooms are a little bit small, but have everything you would need, mattress was quite hard, but not to the point that I couldn't sleep. The staff were very friendly, although not always visible. Location is perfect, you are 2 minutes from the Mustafa Centre, 10 minutes from the Tekka Centre, if you prefer conventional malls, there is City Square Mall close by, you are also walking distance to 4 MRT stations.
