While on a business trip, I stayed at the Platinum Residence Boutique. I have to admit that dinner at the Reymonta 19 restaurant was really enjoyable, but that's a separate post. Unfortunately, the TV in the room didn't work (the remote control was stuck together with tape), and in the bathroom, we had to wait quite a while for hot water in the shower. The bed was generally comfortable, and the room was clean and tidy. I'd give it a 4* rating. The staff were friendly, helpful, and smiling. The location is close to the city center, but a bit too much for one person.

I didn't use the room, but the restaurant was awful. The soup was cold and didn't even fill the plate halfway. The second course—hard carrots, fries soaked in oil, as if they'd been fried several times. Chicken in the shape of discs (!?!) with a chewy, uncooked crust—yuck! Of course, everything was cold—a disaster. Dessert came in a soup plate and with a large spoon. It was supposed to be ice cream with hot raspberries, but it came with cold jam. Finally, the vodka was served, and the glass wasn't even half full. I'm almost 50, I've traveled halfway across Europe, but you won't find such shoddy food even in a meager three-star hotel.

I'm delighted with this place! Everything is within easy reach, so there's no need to go outside in the middle of a frosty winter to find a place for a delicious dinner. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly service, and an excellent restaurant menu. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Poznań.
