Playa Real Resort

Our experience focused on the spa within the hotel. The facilities and location were fantastic. What we didn't like at all was that we ordered the food service in advance (on the day of booking the voucher). They told us to order it again on the day of our appointment (we ordered it two hours before arriving and received no response). When we arrived, the nail technician was the one who served us. She said it wasn't possible because the service had to be ordered in advance. I explained everything, and even then, her response was that she was sorry but hadn't been able to read our order and couldn't accommodate us because she was handling everything. So, that's the only thing we're unhappy about, since we booked it at that time for snacks. Everything else was fine, but if they corrected that, they would surely have more repeat customers and wouldn't have to hold weekly raffles to attract clients. It's worth mentioning that her service was still good despite everything; it's not her fault, and she's the one who faces the public. They were attentive when it came to charging for the daiquiris, but not for the rest. Warm greetings

I didn't stay at the hotel, I only went to the spa. The arrival was splendid, and the reception staff was wonderful. The receptionist, a girl, we weren't sure if she worked there because she was dressed casually, as if she were going out. There's a €10 deposit per person in case of damage, which is very strange, but oh well. They don't provide bathrobes, flip-flops, or towels. You have to pay €3 for a towel. Our spa option was a 60m² spa with cava and fruit. The cava was decent, but the fruit was inedible. I've attached a photo. The fruit platter was inedible. The spa itself isn't bad; it's private, although some unhygienic details were a bit odd. The sauna wasn't available; we didn't know if it could be used, and it wasn't turned on. The steam room was acceptable, although very small, and the jacuzzi only had one jet of water. The cold tub with showers was so crowded we didn't even try it because the floor was just a rough, scratchy plastic floor. They don't leave any space between people, so when they tell you to leave, you practically have to run. The facilities are a bit shabby, to be honest. I wouldn't recommend this spa, especially considering the magnificent spas in the south of the island. The value for money isn't worth it, even with a VIP pass. It's expensive for what it offers. The receptionist's poor image is immediately apparent upon arrival; she certainly doesn't explain the different parts of the spa or anything else.

Excellent hotel, the location is perfect, close to the beaches and the Ramblas promenade. The staff is courteous and helpful, and the food is good and varied. The family rooms could use a little updating, but they are clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, there wasn't much in the way of organized entertainment; there was only one entertainer during our stay.
