I visited Hotel Poseidon after reading One Italian Summer and the story hit home with me! Hotel Poseidon was featured as a main backdrop even tho it was fiction and I was hoping to get an autograph. Well the owner was very gracious and I did get my autograph! I also learned what a beautiful property this is and will definitely stay there next time.

Our stay at Hotel Poseidon was truly unforgettable! The room was gorgeous - and you absolutely can't beat the view. It was also surprisingly quiet; you couldn't hear your neighbors at all, which is rare in Italy! The free breakfast was incredible, and the complimentary champagne and vodka were such a fun touch — definitely fill up, because drinks in Positano can not pricey. The location couldn’t have been better. right in the middle of everything. To the right, you've got all the lively, touristy spots, and to the left, you'll find more authentic local restaurants. You can walk everywhere! Just a tip: call ahead for a ride up to the hotel when you arrive with luggage - those stairs are no joke. But the best part of our stay was the amazing staff. We didn't plan a thing, and they handled everything flawlessly - arranging a private boat to Capri, a rental car and guide for Pompeii, and even a local cooking class. Their restaurant recommendations were spot-on — way better (and cheaper) than anything we found online. ↓ I absolutely loved our experience here and wish I could give them more than 5 stars. If you're visiting Positano, Hotel Poseidon is worth every penny!
