Pousada da Torre

I loved this inn. It's definitely one I would return to if I go back to Morro. We had a room with an ocean view, a beautiful view. The balcony with a very comfortable lounge chair was lovely. The breakfast was good, with a good variety. The background decor is very nice. The pool is good, and it also has a hot tub and sauna. All-inclusive. Located on the second beach, it's a must-visit.

A wonderful place to stay, the service from the professionals (whose names I won't be able to mention) was perfect – cordial, polite. The pool is excellent, close to the beach and the main attractions. The rooms are a little lacking in ventilation, but the air conditioning solves this problem. We had problems with water leaking from the air conditioner, but they resolved this issue when speaking to reception. One observation: to stay on the balcony you need a good insect repellent because the foliage attracts mosquitoes. In March, when we went, there were many young Israelis.

The location, rooms, and even the pool are perfect. The downside is the breakfast. Little variety, HORRIBLE coffee, and the espresso you could pay extra for if you didn't like the filter coffee was WORSE than the first one. By 9:20 AM, they were out of cheese bread and told you "there's no more"... even though it was supposed to be served from 8:00 to 10:30 AM according to the website. One plate of cooked ham, all cut in half, ran out and you had to pray they'd replenish it. That was the first thing I said to customer service and nothing changed all week. There were no croissants; if you went early you'd get one waffle. A limited selection of juices and jams. Honestly, I've never had such a bad breakfast in Brazil. I wouldn't go back. The beach service was bad with the food; you end up ordering from other beach clubs, which is much better. Honestly, very bad food and breakfast. The beach restaurant was always empty, even though it's the best area. I was really disappointed because it was my second time there, and if I had known, I wouldn't have set foot in this inn. The beach towels ran out, and you had to wait for them to dry because they didn't have enough to meet the demand. It's better to get up early and order them before breakfast and bring your own towels... which, by the way, were old towels. The rest of the food was very good. Honestly, a huge disappointment. I wouldn't return unless they change the breakfast. I stayed for nine days. There was no room anywhere else; otherwise, I would have moved sooner.
