This hotel is a disaster. I often travel on a very tight budget, so I'm not used to luxury at all. Yes, it has the bare minimum for a backpacker's budget, which isn't too bad, but the photos make you think you're getting a certain level of comfort. It's all smoke and mirrors; the photos on the website show the largest rooms. We had a so-called "superior" room, but we could barely move around the bed, there was no bedside table, and we had to put our things directly on the floor! The only piece of furniture was a wardrobe, but without hangers! So it was unusable. There was only one electrical outlet for the entire room. Everything is old, damaged, and dirty. For a hotel near the beaches, it would have been normal to have at least a place to hang towels and swimsuits, but there was nothing of the sort. Sometimes we had to dry our clothes on the floor on the small balcony... The pool was cloudy... The lounge chairs were worn down to the frame. The towels were very old or of very poor quality, extremely rough and lint-filled. Apparently, the staff didn't mind children running around, playing, and shouting in the hallways and slamming doors at all hours of the evening and very early in the morning (as early as 6:30 am). The soundproofing was terrible; you could hear everything even with earplugs, so getting a good night's sleep was very difficult. As for breakfast, compared to three other Brazilian pousadas, it was the worst we've had. While the offerings were roughly the same elsewhere, the quality of the food was truly mediocre, and there was very little choice.
