We stayed at Prema Uja Villas, Ubud for one night. Upon arrival, there was a small issue due to a difference in villa booking agents, but thankfully we were still allowed to check in, which we appreciated. In terms of cleanliness, the room was about 3/5. There were several spots that felt quite dusty. The bathroom was average not dirty, but not particularly clean either. The swimming pool was clean overall, although there was some debris at the bottom. The location is quite far in, but still reasonable for a villa in Ubud. Parking is available, which was helpful. For dinner, we ordered in-house, but it seemed like the food was brought in from outside. Unfortunately, it arrived very cold and didn’t taste good at all 1/5 for dinner. The next morning, we ordered a floating breakfast for two. Sadly, it was also cold and very bland. Considering the price, it felt quite disappointing, even though we appreciate the effort made by the staff. That said, the facilities are decent, and for the price, you do get a nice property. Overall, it’s fairly affordable and reasonable value for money if you’re mainly looking for the villa itself rather than the food. | Update to my previous review. | I initially gave this property 4 stars, despite some shortcomings, because overall the stay was still acceptable. However, I am changing my rating to 1 star due to how my review was handled afterward. After posting my review, the management responded by saying they could not find my name in their records, implying that I was not a customer. This was surprising and disappointing, considering the fact that the issue during check-in was already related to their use of two different booking agents. To clarify, I have provided clear proof of payment and booking confirmation to support my stay at this property. Being dismissed as “not a guest” instead of professionally addressing feedback is unacceptable. This response shows poor communication and lack of accountability. Feedback especially honest feedback should be handled with professionalism, not denial. Unfortunately, this experience significantly changed my impression of the property.
